Extreme Vagaries

Drought, followed by flood, followed by locusts? After the scorching weather, the rain was extremely welcome, however 300mm later and even the zucchinis are refusing to grow bigger. You can see in the picture to the left that the leeches were having a field day! With a bit of sun this coming week, we're expecting to see some rapid growth, however there will be a bit of a reduction in Imago produce until this happens.

  1. I heard about the rain you had up there yesterday. I was looking at the clouds in the west towards your way waiting for them to drift this way, but I think they exhausted themselves on you.
Good to see progress on the shed/cottage. I'm checking my calendar for a weekend when I can visit soon.

  2. Hi Julian, Paul here. I really like your photo of that leech! Also very pleased to hear you've had some rain (although it does sound like it might have been a little too much of it). Hannah and I are leaving Melbourne in March/April and returning to a life of (hopefully) WOOFing bliss. We'll call you soon about dates but we reckon we'll be in your area sometime in April or May. We're headed for the NT although we're giving ourselves several months to get there. Looking forward to seeing you soon, take care and love to you, perra and imago!

p.s. it looks almost cricket pitch'esque with all that neat green grass in and around the mandala garden!
